About
About Me
Immersing myself in nature is both a grounding ritual and a creative catalyst. In the outdoors, free from distraction, I find clarity and presence, allowing me to see and feel the intricacies of the natural world. My photographic practice focuses on capturing both the grandeur and intimacy of landscapes: from sweeping aerial views of coastlines and mountain ranges to abstract patterns in water, rock, and plant life, often juxtaposed with the elements of light, weather, and celestial movement.
What connects my work is an exploration of light, shape, texture, and transience. I seek to document fleeting moments—those rare convergences in nature that stir awe—and translate them into visual experiences. These moments, though transient, carry emotional weight and are preserved through my imagery as evidence of their reality and impact.
My photographic approach reflects both personal expression and a deep reverence for the environment, and I remain committed to creating work that captures and shares the quiet power and beauty of our natural world.
Over recent years, my work has received recognition across prestigious national and international photography awards, highlighting creative consistency and evolving vision.

Solo and Duo Exhibitions
Current
Silt and Silhouette – Gallery NWC, Katoomba, New South Wales
A Duo exhibition with Valerie Ingham – Our shared inspirations— sand, salt, silt, and tree bark—hold the memory of time, shaped by wind, water, and light. The abstract compositions within our work invite contemplation of nature’s rhythms, where erosion and growth, exposure and concealment, create an ever-evolving dialogue. The curves of shifting influence between water and evaporation, the fluid lines of erosion, and the intricate shapes found in bark and sediment mirror the silhouettes that emerge in our work. Within the silt and scribbly bark, imprints of passing wildlife—ephemeral traces of movement and presence—remind us that all forms, whether human or animal, are one interwoven natural fabric.
The colours we work with—grey-blue, deep blues, warm oranges, and ochres—evoke both the coolness of bark, silt and the warmth of sunlit earth. In our different mediums, we seek to blur boundaries: between realism and abstraction, between what is seen and what is felt, between the human form and the natural world.
Together, our work asks: Where does the form end and nature begin? Can the patterns, curves, and imprints of nature teach us something about ourselves? We invite you to step closer, to lose yourself in the details, and to find new connections between the world around us and the one within.

Upcoming
Salt and Silt – Gallery NWC, Katoomba, New South Wales
Solo Exhibition – “This series of aerial images explores the stark, abstract beauty of salt lake shorelines—landscapes shaped by wind, water, and mineral sediment. From above, the terrain transforms into flowing patterns and subtle textures, where soft oranges and deep ochres are disrupted by fleeting flashes of aqua or blue—ephemeral signs of water in a parched environment.
These places are both mesmerising and unforgiving. Crystallised salt forms delicate lattices across sun-scorched ground, while the earth cracks under relentless exposure. The faint footprints of birds and wildlife are scattered across the surface—fragile, momentary traces of life in a place that quickly erases them.
By abstracting these landscapes from above, Salt and Silt invites reflection on the raw beauty and transience of nature. It speaks to the quiet resilience of life on the edge and the ever-shifting balance between survival and erasure in one of the planet’s most elemental environments.”
